About Us

ROYO is a theatrical production studio dedicated to producing new commercial work.

Founded by Tom de Keyser & Hamish Greer, ROYO has commissioned eight new musicals, six of which are currently on or in production.

Our focus is the creation, development and rollout of new work, involving both existing brands or through the telling of original stories, to entertain audiences around the world.

Our musical commissions include HERE & NOW, Fisherman’s Friends: The Musical, 13 Going on 30: The Musical, Police Cops: The Musical, NOW That’s What I Call a Musical, The Osmonds: A New Musical and a slate of soon to be announced titles.

We produce new productions of major titles, including the European premiere of The Cher Show, and transfer original work such as Oscar at The Crown, which originated at Brooklyn’s 3 Dollar Bill.

Our family work includes the transfer of Disney’s Winnie The Pooh from New York to London, as well as the international tour of Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show.

We work with extraordinary artists to create and produce their own productions, recent examples of which include Johannes Radebe (House of JoJo, Freedom & Freedom Unleashed) and Oti Mabuse (I Am Here).

ROYO partners and regularly invests in productions, including A Little Life (Wessex Grove), Operation Mincemeat (Avalon) and And Then There Were None (Fiery Angel), ROYO also owns The Studio, a video capture company that specialises in the entertainment industry (More information about which can be found on our Partnerships page).
