ROYO is one of the UK’s leading producers of theatre and live entertainment, creating and presenting productions for audiences around the world. It is one of the UK’s largest commissioners of new musicals and an industry leader in developing, producing and exporting commercial theatre.
As lead producer, ROYO’s productions include original musicals such as 13 Going on 30 – The Musical (winner of Best Regional Production at the 2026 WhatsOnStage Awards), HERE & NOW – The Steps Musical, Fisherman’s Friends – The Musical, NOW That’s What I Call A Musical, Bank of Dave: The Musical, The Osmonds: A New Musical and Police Cops: The Musical. Its productions also include new stagings of Legally Blonde, The Cher Show and Kinky Boots, starring Johannes Radebe, which played a 17-week season at the London Coliseum in summer 2026 following a sold-out UK and European tour.
In 2027, ROYO will present SAVAGE, inspired by the life of Paul O’Grady and created with his blessing. Written by Jonathan Harvey, directed by Nikolai Foster and starring Danny Beard, the production will make its world premiere at Leicester Curve ahead of a West End run.
ROYO also introduced the cult phenomenon OSCAR at The Crown to the UK, creating and operating a purpose-built immersive theatre on Tottenham Court Road.
Its live entertainment and family productions include Disney’s Winnie the Pooh and the beloved children’s classic The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show, alongside a continuing partnership with Johannes Radebe, having produced Freedom, Freedom Unleashed and House of Jojo. His latest show, Finally Home, will tour the UK from April 2027. Previous productions also include Oti Mabuse’s I Am Here and Nikita Kuzmin’s Midnight Dancer.
